Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the overall health and recovery of patients.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient progress and identify changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, follow-up instructions, and disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Advocate for safe, ethical, and patient-centered care
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have:
- Active RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- ADN required; BSN preferred for some roles
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, CCRN, CNOR, or specialty certification preferred depending on department
- Previous nursing experience preferred, but new graduate opportunities may be available in select locations
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
