Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced clinical care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings. This provider will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically confident, organized, and passionate about delivering excellent care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient evaluations, including health history, physical examinations, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, lab results, imaging, and other clinical findings as appropriate.

Develop and manage treatment plans for acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare needs.

Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state guidelines and scope of practice.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication management, wellness, prevention, and follow-up care.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.

Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system.

Promote patient satisfaction through compassionate, professional, and respectful care.

Maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and clinical best practices.

Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state, or willingness to obtain licensure for the right opportunity.

Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

National board certification as an NP, such as FNP, AGNP, PMHNP, PNP, WHNP, ACNP, or another applicable certification.

Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain.

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.

Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Prior Nurse Practitioner experience is strongly preferred, although select opportunities may consider strong new graduate candidates.
